The Myomassology Program may be for you!
Myomassology is an integrated holistic approach to massage which combines Western techniques with Ancient disciplines. Myomassology focuses on the body's lymphatic system, muscular system, acupressure points, and physiology, allowing for a 'whole-body' approach to healing. By integrating various modalities certified Myomassologists are able to tailor a personalized treatment session that is unique to each client. Myomassologists focus on tracking and treating the root cause of an issue rather than just the symptom.
Graduates of the Myomassology program are equipped to offer a full-service practice to meet clients increasing demand for multi-modality, holistic treatment.
The Myomassology program covers:
* Myomassology Massage Techniques
* Swedish Massage Techniques
* Reflexology
* Craniosacral Therapy
* Contraction Release Therapy
* Tui Na Chinese Massage
* Chinese Cupping
* Chair Massage
* Pre-Natal Massage
* Moxibustion
* Acupressure Analgesia
* Aromatherapy Blending
* Leg and Hip Balancing
* Paraffin Therapy

WHAT IS MYOMASSOLOGY?
Therefore Myomassology means ‘the practice or study of muscle massage’.
The term Myomassology was created by a group of leading U.S. Massage Therapists and Educators at an Annual Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1972. It was created as a result of their decision to include the Ancient Healing Arts in their training and scope of practice. From then on other bodywork such as Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Acupressure, Tui Na Chinese Medical Massage, and Craniosacral Therapy were taught and included in Myomassology Massage training, as well as full Swedish Massage techniques, Myomassology Massage techniques, Leg Balancing and Hip Balancing.
Myomassology’s multi-modality approach and therapeutic techniques allow the practitioner to meet the individual needs of each client. This is the ‘hallmark’ of a Myolassologists training and of a Myomassology session.
